Tags

Tags are saved replies for the questions your server answers over and over — the rules, how to apply, where the FAQ lives. Create a tag once on this page (or in Discord with /tag-manage) and anyone can post it with /tag name; the name autocompletes as they type. A tag can be text, a simple embed, or both, and the Uses counter shows which ones get posted most. Free for every server and always on — there is no module switch.

Tag Name

What members type after /tag. Names are lowercase and can use letters, numbers, dashes and underscores (up to 32 characters, starting with a letter or number); spaces turn into dashes as you type. Each name can only be used once per server. Renaming a tag keeps its text and its Uses count.

Text

Up to 2,000 characters, with Discord markdown — bold, lists, links, code blocks. Mentions like @everyone, roles or members appear as text but never ping anyone, so a tag can safely explain how to reach the team.

Embed

An optional card under the text with a title (up to 256 characters), its own text (up to 4,096) and a colour bar. A tag can be embed-only. Embeds are edited here on the dashboard; changing a tag's text with /tag-manage keeps its embed.

Limits

A server can have up to 200 tags. Changes made on this page reach Discord's autocomplete within about 30 seconds; changes made with /tag-manage show up immediately.

Commands

/tag name posts a tag in the channel as a reply. /tags lists every tag, visible only to whoever asked. /tag-manage create opens a form for a new tag, /tag-manage edit name opens the tag's name and text for editing, and /tag-manage delete name removes it — these three need the Manage Messages permission. Every command can be restricted or disabled on the Slash Commands page.
