Stat Channels
Stat Channels show live numbers right in your channel list β a voice channel named "π₯ Members: 1,234" that Diski keeps up to date. Create a channel from the dashboard with one click (Diski locks it so nobody can join) or use a voice channel you already have (its permissions stay as they are), then pick what it shows: members, humans, bots, online members, boosts, channels or roles. Free for every server β up to 2 stat channels, or 5 with Premium.
Enable Stat Channels
The switch at the top of the Stat Channels page. Stat Channels is on by default, so a channel you create or add starts updating right away. Clicking the switch saves at once β no Save needed. While it is off, the channels keep their last name and stop updating; the settings stay visible, and trying to change one offers to turn Stat Channels on. Changes reach the bot within about 15 seconds; the names themselves follow within about 10 minutes.
Stat Channels
Free servers can have 2 stat channels; Premium raises that to 5. Each stat is one voice channel whose name Diski rewrites with the current numbers. "Create a new channel" makes a voice channel at the top of your channel list that everyone can see but nobody can join, and adds it straight away β no Save needed. "Use an existing voice channel" turns a channel you already have into a stat without changing its permissions β the "can see but can't join" lock only comes with channels Diski creates. If members shouldn't join an existing one, deny Connect for @everyone in Discord and keep it allowed for Diski. Removing a stat stops the updates but does not delete the channel; delete it in Discord if you no longer need it.
Voice Channel
The voice channel whose name shows the stat. Each channel can only show one stat. Diski needs Manage Channels and Connect in it β channels it creates itself already allow that.
Channel Name
The name, up to 100 characters, with at least one variable: {members} (everyone, bots included), {humans}, {bots}, {online} (Discord's approximate count of members online), {boosts}, {channels} (categories and threads not counted) and {roles} (@everyone not counted). Numbers are written like 1,234. Emojis work well at the start, e.g. "π₯ Members: {members}". The preview uses your server's latest numbers where the dashboard has them.
How Often Names Update
Discord only lets an app rename a channel twice every 10 minutes, so Diski renames each stat channel at most once every 10 minutes β and only when the number actually changed. After Diski restarts, the first update can take a few minutes longer. Diski's own renames are left out of Action Logs so your log channel isn't flooded.
Permissions Diski Needs
Manage Channels and Connect in each stat channel (Discord requires both to rename a voice channel), and Manage Channels in the server to create new ones. New installs grant Administrator, which covers all of this. If a permission is missing, the channel simply keeps its old name.
