Giveaways

The Giveaways feature lets you run prize giveaways directly inside your Discord server, with full control over eligibility, duration, and winner count. Members enter by clicking the 🎉 Enter button on the giveaway message, and winners are selected automatically when the timer expires. Entry requirements can reach into other modules — a minimum Leveling level or message count, or a minimum number of invites — and bonus-entry roles give chosen members better odds. Use this feature to reward your community, boost engagement, or celebrate milestones. Free servers can have 1 giveaway running at a time; Premium removes the limit.

Prize

The name or description of the item being given away, displayed as the title of the giveaway message. Keep it short and descriptive so members immediately know what they can win.

Description

An optional longer description shown below the prize title in the giveaway message. Use this to add context, instructions, or sponsor information.

Giveaway Channel

The text channel where the giveaway message will be posted and where members click Enter to join. Choose a channel your members can see and access.

Announcement Channel

An optional separate channel where the winner announcement is posted when the giveaway ends. If left empty, the announcement is sent in the same channel as the giveaway.

Winners

The number of winners to be randomly selected when the giveaway ends. Set to 1 for a single winner or higher to award multiple members at once. Nobody can win twice in one draw, and members with bonus entries are proportionally more likely to be picked.

Duration (Hours)

How long the giveaway runs before winners are drawn, specified in hours. The minimum is 1 hour and the maximum is 168 hours (7 days).

Ping on Completion

Roles mentioned alongside the winner announcement when the giveaway ends, so members know the result is in. Leave it empty to announce silently. Picking @everyone pings the whole server. Rerolling edits the existing announcement rather than posting a new one, so nobody is pinged a second time.

Required Roles

Only members who hold every one of the selected roles are eligible to enter. Leave this empty to allow all members to participate.

Bypass Roles

Members with any of these roles can enter the giveaway regardless of every other eligibility requirement — required roles, minimum account age, level, messages and invites. They still count toward Max Participants.

Minimum Level

The Leveling level a member must have reached to enter (0 = off, up to 500). Only offered — and only enforced — while Leveling is turned on; if you switch Leveling off later, the requirement stops applying rather than locking everyone out. Members who don't qualify are told their current level when they click Enter.

Minimum Messages

How many messages a member must have sent to enter, as counted by Leveling (0 = off). Leveling counts messages that earned XP, which is at most one per XP cooldown — so a member spamming ten messages in a minute counts once with the default 60-second cooldown. Only offered and enforced while Leveling is on.

Minimum Invites

How many invites a member needs to enter (0 = off, up to 10,000) — the same count invite rewards use: regular plus bonus invites, minus leaves while Count leaves is on. Fake joins don't count, so it can be higher than the leaderboard total. Only offered and enforced while the Invite Tracker is on. Members can check their count with /invites view.

Bonus Entries

Give members holding certain roles extra chances: each role adds 1–10 extra entries (up to 10 roles), so a +2 role means 3 entries in the draw instead of 1. A member only gets their single highest bonus — roles don't add up. The bonus is fixed from the roles a member has when they click Enter, the entrant list shows each member's entries and how many entries are in the draw in total, and winners are drawn weighted by entries without anyone winning twice.
