Terms of Service for Diski

Who Can Use Diski

• You must meet Discord's minimum age and follow the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times.
• If you add Diski to a server or change its settings, you confirm that you're allowed to manage that server.
• Server staff are responsible for how Diski is set up in their server, including features that everyone can see (like a public leaderboard) and features that record what members do (like action logs, AutoMod and ticket transcripts). Our Privacy Policy explains what each feature stores.

Use of the Bot

By using Diski, you agree to:

• Follow all applicable Discord policies and guidelines.
• Use the bot only for its intended purpose.
• Not engage in spam, abuse, or misuse of the bot.

In particular, you may not use Diski to:

• Spam or raid servers, mass-mention people, or flood channels with messages, polls, giveaways or announcements.
• Harass, threaten or scam anyone, or post content that is illegal or breaks Discord's rules.
• Get around Diski's limits, permission checks, security features or Premium checks, overload the service, or probe it for weaknesses. If you find a security problem, please tell us instead.
• Cheat at vote rewards or giveaways, for example with alternate accounts or automated voting.

Diski reserves the right to restrict or terminate access if a user or a server violates these terms.

Your Content

• Content you put into Diski (messages, embeds, tags, auto-responses, ticket and application questions, welcome images, the feeds you follow and any custom bot identity) stays yours, and you're responsible for it. You allow us to store, process and display it as needed to run Diski for you, for example by posting your embeds in your server.
• A server that sets up tags, embeds, auto-responses or feeds is responsible for what they post, including posts pulled in from the RSS feeds and Bluesky accounts it follows.
• Welcome-card backgrounds must follow Discord's rules, and you must have the right to use the image.
• Don't put other people's private information into Diski without their permission.
• We may remove content, or switch off a feature for a server, when it breaks these terms.

Custom Bot Identity

The custom bot identity isn't offered right now. If it returns, servers that have it can change Diski's avatar, banner, bio and nickname inside their server. Because that profile appears on Diski's own verified bot account, these rules apply:

• Don't impersonate Discord, Discord staff, Diski staff or any other person or organization, and don't imitate system messages or Nitro giveaways.
• No links or server invites in the bio.
• The images and text must follow Discord's rules.
• Diski automatically refuses nicknames and bios that look like impersonation or contain links. Diski staff may also reset an identity and lock it so it can't be changed again.
• When a server loses access to the feature, its custom identity goes back to Diski's default look, and the images aren't kept.

License & Restrictions

Diski grants users a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to interact with the bot. This license does not allow:

• Modifying, copying, or redistributing the bot.
• Reverse engineering or decompiling the bot.
• Using the bot for illegal or harmful activities.

Premium Subscriptions and Billing

Most of Diski is free. Premium is an optional subscription for one server that costs $3.99 a month or $39.99 a year, in US dollars. Premium currently adds:

• Unlimited Twitch streamers — every server gets 1 free
• Kick, YouTube & TikTok stream alerts — YouTube uploads, Shorts & premieres too
• RSS & Bluesky feeds
• Custom background images on welcome cards
• More of everything — unlimited ticket panels, giveaways, application forms & scheduled messages, plus more starboards, Temp Voice hubs, stat channels & Guild Linker rules
• Priority support + a Supporter role in our Discord server

• New subscriptions are paid by card and processed securely by Stripe . Subscriptions that were started with PayPal keep being billed and managed through PayPal. By subscribing you also agree to the payment processor's terms.
• You choose monthly or yearly billing at checkout. Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. There is no switch between monthly and yearly on an existing subscription: to change, cancel it and subscribe again once the current period ends.
• You may cancel at any time from the dashboard or by contacting us. On cancellation, Premium features remain active until the end of the current billing period and are not renewed. For card subscriptions you can undo a cancellation before the period ends; a cancelled PayPal subscription can't be restarted, so you would subscribe again.
• Monthly card subscriptions can also be paused for one month from the dashboard. Premium stays on until the end of the period you've paid for, the following month is skipped and not charged, and billing and Premium resume automatically after it.
• The person who paid can always see and manage the subscription in the dashboard, even if they no longer manage the server.
• Priority support means questions from paying customers are answered first in our support server on Discord. The person who pays gets the Supporter role there, as long as they are a member of the server with the Discord account they pay with.
• When Premium ends, the Premium features stop for that server, and everything else in Diski keeps working.
• Prices may change; we will give reasonable notice of any change before it applies to your next renewal.

Refund Policy

• Refunds are generally not accepted.
• Refunds will only be considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
• If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please contact us at [email protected].
• If the payment for the current period is refunded in full, or a payment is charged back, the subscription is cancelled and Premium ends for that server straight away.

Vote Rewards and the Monthly Draw

• Voting for Diski on top.gg is free and never required: no Diski feature is locked behind voting.
• Voters can earn rewards such as the Voter role in our support server while their vote is recent, Top Voter status for reaching the monthly vote target, entries in a monthly draw and, for Top Voters, Premium time. The current rewards are shown on the Premium page of the dashboard.
• Who can enter. Everyone who votes is entered. Nobody is left out, Diski's own team included. No purchase is necessary: voting is the only way to enter, and it's free.
• Tickets. Each vote in a calendar month (UTC) earns a ticket in that month's draw. When the weekend bonus is on, votes that top.gg marks as weekend votes earn two. Top Voters, who reach the monthly vote target, have their tickets multiplied. The current target, multiplier and bonus are shown on the Premium page of the dashboard.
• The draw. Each month's draw runs automatically on the 1st of the following month, starting at 03:00 UTC. Winners are picked at random, weighted by tickets, so every ticket has the same chance. Each person can win at most once per draw. The number of winners and the prize are set by us and shown on the Premium page before the draw. We keep a record of each draw's entrants, tickets and winners so the result can be checked.
• Prizes and claiming. Prizes are Premium time for one Discord server. Each winner chooses which server they manage gets it and applies it from the dashboard. It can't go to a server that already has a paid subscription or Premium given by Diski staff; on a server that already has Premium from vote rewards, the time is added on. A prize that isn't applied within the claim window shown with it on the Premium page expires. Prizes have no cash value and can't be exchanged for money or transferred.
• Winners are announced in our support server and sent a DM.
• We only reward votes. Following top.gg's rules, we never give rewards for reviews.
• We may change, pause or end the rewards and the draw at any time. We may disqualify votes or entries that break these terms, such as votes from alternate accounts or automated voting. Void where prohibited by law.

Service Availability and Changes

• We run Diski on a best-effort basis. We don't promise that it will always be online or error-free, or that any feature will stay exactly the same.
• We may add, change or remove features over time.
• Diski depends on Discord and other services such as Twitch, YouTube, Kick, TikTok, Bluesky, SoundCloud, top.gg, Stripe and PayPal. If they change or go down, some features may stop working.
• We may limit, suspend or remove Diski from a server, or block a user, that breaks these terms or puts Diski or other people at risk.

Disclaimer

• Diski is provided "as is" with no warranties or guarantees.
• We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• We are not liable for data loss, damages, or misuse resulting from using Diski.

Liability Limitation

In no event shall Diski or its developers be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the bot, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Updates and Modifications

• These Terms of Service may be updated at any time.
• Users will be notified of significant changes through Discord announcements or other communication methods.
• Continuing to use Diski after a change means you accept the updated terms.
